Community Involvement

At m2u McDonald’s, we believe dedication deserves to be celebrated. The Billy “Mac” McCoin Scholarship was created to honor Billy’s incredible 46 years of service with McDonald’s and his lasting impact on the people and restaurants around him.

Each year, we award a $4,600 scholarship to a graduating senior crew member who demonstrates commitment, leadership and a strong work ethic. It’s our way of investing in the future of our team members and recognizing the same spirit of dedication Billy has shown throughout his career.

Supporting families during difficult moments is a responsibility we’re honored to be part of. At m2u McDonald’s, our partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Oklahoma City helps provide comfort, stability, and a home away from home for families with children receiving medical care nearby.

Through Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House Charities®, guests can round up their order total to the nearest dollar in-restaurant or in the McDonald’s App, with every extra cent directly benefiting local families. Beyond fundraising, our team proudly supports the mission by volunteering time and resources at RMH events — including WALK FOR KIDS — throughout the Oklahoma City community.

Strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships and shared support. That’s why we’re proud to stand alongside organizations like Arise Single Moms, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County, and OK Energy FC, Oklahoma Youth Expo, Oklahoma FFA, Free To Live, in addition to our local Chamber of Commerce and area schools.
